We have invested heavily in skills training to equip assembly staff to build products per customer specifications. Our assembly line is capable of assembling, preparing and testing an average 250 PCs and notebooks per month, with any required configuration. We can also fully assemble a computer in as little as four hours, from the time the order is placed to the time it is collected. Our assembly lines are fully ESD compliant and strict quality control and stock management processes are in place.
Clients can request products to be assembled and collect them from any of our regional service centres. Delivery services are available through of fleet of vehicles and products can be couriered door-to-door to outlying destinations across East African countries.
With an ever-growing partner network of over 700 active customers, our fleet and logistics network has been carefully developed to ensure that we deliver products and services efficiently and successfully.
Our logistics operations cater for the needs of resellers, value-added resellers, sub-distributors, e-commerce retailers and traditional retail outlets. Logistics facilities are backed by advanced systems, support systems at our five national branches, efficient stock control, automated warehousing, online ordering, an inhouse vehicle fleet system and reliable national and regional courier systems and services. Regional Operations Managers control stock and ensure convenient and satisfactory service delivery.
Our fleet delivers an average of 500 orders every working day within a 120 kilometre radius of our five national branches. For outlying areas beyond our fleet’s reach, we make use of trusted courier partnerships to deliver goods via courier, door to door. Local deliveries are concluded within 24 hours, with some clients receiving more than one delivery on any given day.
When using one of our walk-in support services, most problems can quickly be tested, saving customers time and hassle. Defective products are usually exchanged then and there, preventing inconvenient delays and unnecessary follow-up visits for a customer. Our service centres carry stock of fast-moving devices and components and we aim to manage stock levels proactively to prevent delays and stock not being readily available. The average turnaround time for a customer exchange is 5-10 minutes. Amblex is authorised to repair Gigabyte, Acer and Asus notebooks,Lenovo, Hisense TVs and phones, RCT inverters and UPS , Makerbot 3D printers, Poslab Point of Sale and Vivotek surveillance cameras.
